Our Resort is located in the Nature Reserve "Le Dune di Guardavalle" established by ministerial decree on April 3, 2000 and No. 92/43 of the European Union. That is why in recent years we started the project "Nature Holiday" concretizing it with many initiatives:
- We produce hot water with solar panels
- Photovoltaic system located on the roof of our restaurant
- We use exclusively electricity from renewable sources
- 50% of the products we use are from local farmers
- We use only biodegradable detergents for our laundry.
- We dry laundry in the air and in the sun.
- We carry out direct and indirect waste sorting
- We have eliminated pesticides and poisons from gardening treatments
- Preservation of biodiversity in Green areas through the preservation of native plants and local essences, both because they require less water helping us to preserve a precious commodity like water and because they fit better into the contest and are fragrant
- We use Kitchen leftovers only as food for outdoor animals.
- We protect native animal species and local flora.
- Structures designed and built in harmony with nature. Low buildings with low visual impact to blend in with the surrounding landscape.
- Exclusive use of electric service carts for the movement of guests and goods within the facilities.
- Excursions that enhance the territory, nature, archaeology, history and traditions of Calabria. Experiences that raise guest awareness and encourage the discovery of inland communities made up of genuine and hospitable people.
- Social responsibility and support of tourism development in the area with partnerships of cultural, musical and theatrical events of regional and national importance.
